Beezag - Video PTC

One new site I'm using is Beezag, a sort of video paid to click site. Instead of viewing a webpage, you will just need to watch a commercial. The site used to pay up to 50 cents per commercial, but most of the time it's between two and ten cents. That beats most PTC's by far but it will take awhile to reach the minimum cashout of $8. It pays through PayPal.

Spin the Wheel at MyPoints!

This morning I won 100 points at MyPoints- just for spinning the wheel! Most days I get 0 or 5 points.

My Points is a reliable site to get gift cards- they have been up and running for about 10 years!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Last year was the first year I tried my hand at making a few bucks online, and I came out ok with just over $950 in earnings. I have received less than $600 though, and it's possible that $50 or so of the earnings will never get paid.

My top earning site was GSN, where I won $100 in the summer and earned enough points for about another $100 in gift cards.

My second best site was Swag Bucks, a paid to search site that has yielded almost $120 in Amazon gift cards. Check it out, it's one of the easiest sites to get something from, and they don't take too much time either!

An interesteing GPT Site

GPT sites (Get Paid To) are all over the place. Normally I don't sign up for them but here's an interesting one, BeRuby.

Among other things you can get paid a small amount each day for visiting popular sites like Facebook or Gmail. most sites pay less than a penny but a couple pay a full cent or more. It's like a PTC site with over a dozen ads every day.

You will get a $1 bonus for signing up and the minimum cashout level is $10 through PayPal.

If you are a regular online shopper this is another program that will pay a little cash back for shopping through them.

Memolink Paid! But... it took forever to reach cashout

My Memolink check arrived - quite promptly- the $10 I labored to earn over the past 8-9 months.

If you are one that shops online regularly, this program may be worth your time.

Otherwise, avoid this slow earning site. I'll be unsubscribing from them as they have been one of my slowest earners. I can recommend plenty of other sites to make money, but Memolink is not really one of them (unless you shop).

At least they paid, though :-)

(Sorry I have not been keeping up the blog recently. I am back and I intend to stay!)

Are PTC sites a WASTE OF TIME?

I have been using PTC (paid to click) sites since January 2009. Are they a waste of time?

1. You only get 1 or 2 cents per ad at most places, and sometimes even less.
2. At least 75% of PTC sites are scams or will become scams in the near future.
3. Your pay per hour, once you add up all the time you spend there is probably going to be far less than minimum wage.

Now I know you are thinking, NOT ALL PTC sites are SCAM! That's true. Some do pay. However, is it really worth your time? For me they have served to be more of a distraction from sites that pay more.

I've personally used at least 8 PTC sites:

1. NeoBux- A very reliable site, but you will have to spend at least 3 minutes to get a mere 4 cents per day. A waste of time, I have since deleted my account.

2. You Data. While You Data does not call itself a PTC site, that's pretty much how it works. This is the only one that I strongly recommend, since they pay 10-20+ cents per ad. Sounds to good to be true, but the catch is that the ads can only be clicked once. And there are not ads every day. I have spent less than 2 hours to get $9 or so, that's a good return on my investment. See my other post for more info.

3. NoMincashout. This site actually paid me early on but since then it has since then become a scam, with incredibly low pay- only ¼ a cent per ad.

4. Wordlinx. is supposedly the oldest PTC site. so far they have been fine, but they are slow like the rest of them. I will stick with this one and see if I can get any referrals.

5. BaleClix. This site turned out to be a scam too.

6. Hits4Pay. I am still active here and hoping to reach cashout in about a year. They started me off with $10, and give 2 cents per ad, but the minimum cashout is $25. I wish I did not sign up, and I do not recommend them.

7. MyPoints is not really a PTC site, however they send you paid to click e-mails several times a week. I strongly recommend them, and I would be happy to refer anyone that send me an e-mail address. Click here to send me a private message. Scroll down to "Contact Me".

8. Inbox Dollars and Send Earnings: Not recommended either. Like myPoints, the really are not PTC sites but they have a high cashout ($30), and only pay $0.02 per ad.

I've been making a lot more money at paid to write sites, paid to search sites, and of course paid surveys. You can take a good survey at Opinion Outpost for 20 minutes and get perhaps $2. That’s a lot better than clicking 200 ads! At Swag Bucks, a paid to search site, I get about $1-3 a week just for searching the web.

The only way PTC sites could really be profitable to you is if you had dozens of faithful referrals, which is unlikely for most of us.

So with the exception of You Data, I think PTC sites are a waste of time. If you still want to start using them, join You Data first, and then try Wordlinx or MyPoints.

My First 6 Months Earning Online

When I first heard that I could make money online I did not realize the potential there was. I needed (and still do) some extra cash to help with some additional expenses I saw coming up for my college studies as well as some other things. With soaring unemployment and full time school work, I decided that the probability of getting a decent part time job was not all that great. That’s why I have tried to take this online earning seriously- but it took awhile to figure out how to do it. There’s a lot left to learn but I’m starting to make some progress.
After the first 6 months I have made $464.90. I have actually received $179.68 and the rest is to be paid in the near future. This money has come from about 30 different sites. The top earning site has been a review site that closed last month, Ciao.com, with a total of $77.93. A close second is the paid to search site, Swag Bucks, with over $70 in Amazon gift cards.

The Next 6 Months

I am hoping to do a lot better these next 6 months. My goal is to earn at least $1,000. That will certainly be possible but it will have to involve a good hard effort on my part. I think it will rely heavily on paid to write sites, paid to search sites and recruiting referrals. That’s one of the hardest things to do.

How is your online earning coming? If you have not joined Swag Bucks already, click on the banner below to get started. Don’t Google for free, earn a little while you are doing it!

Opinion Outpost: A Great Survey Site

Opinion Outpost is a survey site that was launched in 2005. The Web page design has a Western theme and the site's layout is very easy to use. When you sign up you can complete your user profiles. They will send you 4-8 surveys per week.

The surveys are fairly easy to take. You receive notifications of new surveys in your e-mail account. Once you start, you may have to answer a few questions on their site before they redirect you to the survey. Often they are OTX surveys, which are disliked by a lot of people but overall I have had a good experience with them. In fact, I often prefer OTX because if I do not qualify, they usually allow me to try qualifying into another study.

After you complete your survey, you are redirected back to the Opinion Outpost page where you see a message telling you how many points you earned. If you failed to qualify for the survey, Opinion Outpost offers you three options: You can get an entry into a $750 Sweepstakes, you can donate to Charity ($0.10) or you can try for an instant win of $50. I have failed to qualify for dozens of surveys and every time clicked on the instant win button- however no wins yet.

The rewards are very good compensation for you time. They pay you in points, where 10 points= $1. Minimum cash out is quite low (50 points, or $5). Most surveys will earn you 10-100 points ($1-10). On average, a survey that earns you 20 Opinion points takes about 20 minutes. I think it is one of the better paying survey sites out there to join.

When you request payment they send you a check. They say it may take 4-8 weeks for it to arrive. I was quite surprised, then, when I got my first check of $7.50 only 12 days after requesting it.

They also have a referral program but you need to have the e-mail address of the person you want to refer so that you can enter it into the site. Opinion Outpost then sends an invite e-mail to them. I would prefer they offered a referral link instead, however that is my only complaint about them.

Note: You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States or Canada to join Opinion Outpost.

Needless to say I am very happy with this site and I would rate it 95-100%. I recommend that you join if you like earning money for taking surveys.

If you would like to be my referral, please send an e-mail address to me and I will refer you.
Here is the link to the site: Opinion Outpost (not a referral link).

Cash Crate: Make Money Completing Offers and Surveys

This is a well known website that you complete offers to receive cash. After you complete the offer, you submit it to cash crate and they pay you once they receive confirmation that you completed the offer. Examples of offers include:

*Registering with a website
*Completing a survey
*Signing up for a Getting a trial subscription or product sample
*Applying for a credit card

There are a lot of free offers an then there are some which require a credit card. I generally avoid these but they will work for some people. Out of the 200+ offers available, I have only done a handful so far. Most offers pay $0.25 to $2. However some credit card offers are worth $45.

Cash Crate also allows you to take up to two surveys per day, each worth $0.80. They have a Twitter account as well where they will periodically put out a coupon code which you enter at the site. I have redeemed two, one for $0.50 and the other for $1.

They have an excellent referral program, where you earn 20% of the earnings of your first degree referrals and 10% off of their referrals.

I have read about quite a few people that have made hundreds of dollars off of this site. However, I have only made $13.15 so far. I have been quite distracted by other sites, but if I took the time I could reach the cash out minimum of $20 quite easily.

You will have to watch out for a lot of spam AFTER completing some of the offers. Cash Crate does not spam you but some of the third-party offers you complete may result in spam.

I would strongly recommend this site if completing cash offers is something you enjoy. This is probably one of the best sites to do that. One minimal drawback is that they pay by check, it would be better if they used PayPal.

You Data: The highest paying 'PTC' site I know of.

You Data does not call itself a PTC site, but that's pretty much how it works. Most PTC site pay 1-3 cents per ad. At You Data, I have been getting mostly $0.20 ads!

Up till now, advertisers have been paying big bucks to show off their products and services to whoever they can. That's rather inefficient, as many people seeing the ad aren't really interested in the product. As a result, consumers don't necessarily enjoy advertising very much, and sometimes try to ignore it (like me).

You Data takes a different approach. You build a profile of what you like and don't like, called a 'Me File'. No personally identifying information is required, just your gender and birth date. Think of the Me File as a small database of what you as a consumer are interested in. You data then uses this information to link you to advertisements that would be of interest to you. When you click through, you get money added to your account. You must have a PayPal account to receive your funds. Also, when signing up you will need a cell phone to receive a text message, which will contain a four-digit code needed to activate your login.

I have been a signed up for about 3 months now and have received 11 separate payments that have added up to $6.81 in my PayPal account. I spent very little time to get this, about an hour, spread throughout the 3 months. Considering my younger age, I am not an advertiser's primary target in most cases, so I don't get as many offers. My mom recently signed up and has already received a lot more offers than me.

While I do earn more money from other sites, this is one of my favorite! My grade for it? 100%
